Chocolate Chip Cookies



Cookie Monster... that should've been me ☺ 
so one of the first things I learned to make, 
you guessed it right! Cookies!!! 
I can't get enough of this freshly baked cookies... 
perfect with coffee!



You will need:

  • 1¼ cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Butter or Margarine, softened
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup semi-sweet Chocolate Chips


Preparation:


Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F . Combine flour, baking soda, and 
        salt.


Step 2: In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric 
        mixer at a medium speed until creamy.


Step 3: Beat in egg and vanilla. Reduce speed to low; 


Step 4: Beat in flour mixture just until blended. Stir in 
        chocolate chips.


Step 5: Drop dough by heaping tablespoons, 2 inches apart, on 
        ungreased large cookie sheets.


Step 6: Bake cookies 10-12 minutes or until golden around the 
        edges. Transfer cookies to wire racks to cool.


Step 7: Repeat with the remaining dough. Store cookies in tightly 
        covered container at room temperature. Stores up to 1 
        week.


** Yields: about 2 dozen.
