Chocolate-covered bananas
that'll just melt your heart away ♥
You will need:
- 1-2 bananas
- 4 oz chocolate – milk or plain
- straws or popsicle sticks (for kids)
for toppings:
- Dried coconut
- Chocolate sprinkles
- Colored sprinkles
- Finely crushed chocolate cream cookies (oreo)
Procedure:
Step 1: Peel the banana and trim off the ends. Chop the flesh into 6 bite sized pieces.
Step 2: Break the chocolate into a heat proof bowl. Put the bowl over a pan of hot water,
making sure the bottom of the bowl doesn't touch the water. Melt the chocolate,
stirring occasionally. When melted, leave to cool slightly.
Step 3: Push a straw or popsicle sticks through the banana, coat with chocolate. Drizzle

melted chocolate over each piece. (Don't worry if it's not perfect, it will still taste
delicious!) You can roll them over the melted chocolate or use a spoon to coat the
bananas.
Step 4: Roll the chocolate-covered banana in the coconut or sprinkles or your the toppings of
your choice. Let the chocolate harden, and then serve. Store in the fridge and eat
within 24 hours. (if you dont want the toppings, you can just skip this part. Just let
the chocolate harden, and enjoy!)
