Creamy Baked Fusilli with Ham and Bacon Bits

My Hubby and I loooooves Pasta.
This is one recipe I made from my own kitchen.
Cheesy and Creamy...
Its so easy to make and so yummy.
Hope you'll enjoy it as much as we did ☺

You will need:
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 strips bacon, sliced into small squares
  • 4 slices of ham, sliced into small squares
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 can (300grams) All-purpose Cream (I always use Nestle)
  • 1 box (185grams) Quickmelt Cheese, grated (save about ¼cup for toppings)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 500 grams Fusilli (or Pasta of your choice), cooked according to package directions
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch  dissolved in 2 tablespoons of water (optional)

Preparation:

Step 1: In a saucepan, cook bacon in butter until brown. Add garlic and cooked until golden
brown. Add onions, then ham. Cook for about a minute.

Step 2: In the same pan, add cream (you can add more cream for creamier taste and
              consistency). Simmer while stirring continuously.

Step 3: Add cheese. Continue stirring until cheese is completely melted. Season with salt and
pepper. Add cornstarch (if using) and continue to simmer and stir for about a minute.

Step 4: Toss pasta with sauce. Transfer into a baking dish. Top generously with grated cheese
and bake at 350°F until cheese melts. Serve with toasted or garlic bread.
