Beef and Vegetable Stir-fry

Beef is a good variation to stir-fry recipes,
which often use chicken.
This is an easy-to-make recipe
that the whole family will surely love.

You will need:
  • 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil (divided into 1 tablespoon each)
  • 500 grams Beef Sirloin, cut into thin strips
  • 1 (7gram) pack Seasoning Mix
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 3 cups assorted vegetables (your choice), such as young corn, red and green bell pepper strips, mushrooms,  chopped button mushrooms, and snow peas.

Preparation:

Step 1: Mix cornstarch, water, and soy sauce in a small bowl until cornstarch is totally
              dissolved; Set aside.

Step 2: Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large non-stick skillet on a med-high heat. Add beef,
and sprinkle with seasoning mix. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until beef is no longer
pink. Remove beef from the skillet; Set aside.

Step 3: In the same pan, heat the remaining olive oil. Add vegetables. Cook and stir-fry for
about 3 minutes. Return the beef to the skillet.

Step 4: Stir soy sauce mixture, then add to the skillet, stirring constantly. Bring to boil on a
medium heat, until slightly thick. Serve warm with rice.
