Vegeroni Pasta Italiana

Eating pasta in different shapes is fun.
Not only for kids but (i have to admit) for me, too.
In this pasta dish, I used vegeroni pasta shapes
and the blend of onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes for my meat sauce.
Happy Eating! ☺

You will need:
  • 400 grams Vegeroni Pasta Shapes (or any pasta you prefer), cooked according to package directions; drained
  • 2 tablespoons oil (I used olive oil)
  • 2 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 350 grams Ground beef
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 5 pieces Green and Red Bell Peppers, diced small
  • 1 (560 grams) pack Spaghetti Sauce (Italian Style)
  • 1 (250 grams) pouch Tomato Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • ½ bar Cheese, grated (I used Quickmelt) or more, as preferred

Preparation:

Step 1: Making the Meat Sauce: >> Heat oil in pan. Saute garlic, then onion until translucent.

Step 2: Add ground beef. Saute until brown.

Step 4. Add bell peppers. Cook for about a minute or two.

Step 5: Add spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce. Simmer. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 6: Toss sauce with prepared pasta. Transfer in a serving platter and top generously
with cheese. (You may serve it immediately)

Step 7: Bake until cheese melts and serve. Enjoy!
