Breaded Prawns

Prawns are one of my Hubby and I's favorite seafood.
Luckily, our place is abundant of these.
Today for lunch, he requested breaded prawns.
It's fast and easy to make... ready in a matter of minutes.
I used Japanese breadcrumbs for this recipe,
giving the rich golden color and the perfect "crunch".
Do not cook the prawns too long to keep it juicy and not rubbery.
Bon appetit'! ☺

You will need:
  • 12 pieces medium-sized prawns, peeled (leave tail intact) and deveined
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Japanese breadcrumbs
  • Oil for deep-frying

Preparation:

Step 1: Season prawns with salt and pepper.

Step 2: Dredge in flour then deep in beaten eggs.

Step 3: Coat the prawns with breadcrumbs. Chill in the fridge for a few minutes.

Step 4: Heat oil for deep-frying. Fry breaded prawns until golden. Drain in paper towels.
Serve with sweet and sour sauce.
