Taco Salad


You want tacos but don't have taco shells?
Here's the next best thing --
use tortilla chips instead ☺



You will need:
  • 500 grams Ground Beef
  • 1 tablespoon Chili powder
  • 2/3 cup Salsa (mild, or according to your preference)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can Red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 head Lettuce, shredded
  • ¼ cup Cheese, grated
  • tortilla chips, to serve
  • sour cream, to serve (optional)

Preparation:

Step 1: In a skillet, brown beef and season with chili powder and salsa. Cook for about 5 
              minutes and season with salt and pepper.

Step 2: Add red kidney beans.

Step 3: In a serving bowl, arrange shredded lettuce and top with ground beef. Sprinkle with 
              cheese.

Step 4: Serve with tortilla chips and sour cream.
