Tuna Spring Rolls

If you need a quick snack or a party appetizer,
this is your best bet.
This is a variation of our party favorite spring rolls.
You'll  just need to bring out a can of tuna and lumpia wrapper,
and you're good to go.
No fuss... cooked in a flash.

You will need:
  • 3 tablespoons Oil
  • 1/3 cup Onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup red Bell Pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup Carrots, finely chopped
  • 2 (155 grams) can Tuna in Oil, drained and flaked
  • 2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 12 pieces Lumpia Wrapper
  • Oil for deep-frying
  • Sweet Chili Sauce for dipping (optional)

Preparation:

Step 1: Heat oil. Saute garlic then onions. Add red bell pepper and carrots and cook until soft.

Step 2: Add tuna. Mix well. Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2
              minutes. Set aside. Let cool.

Step 3: Place one tablespoon of tuna mixture at the edge of the lumpia wrapper. Roll up to
enclose the filling. Moisten the edge with water and press tightly to seal. Do the same
              for all the wrappers.

Step 4: Deep-fry the tuna rolls in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve
              warm with sweet chili sauce.
